Poker is the star of many movies and tv-series. These movies are usually the Wild, Wild West type and the variation of poker played is draw poker, which right now has started to lose popularity among most of the online poker players. However in this article we are going to present you the latest poker movies so most of them will already have the Texas Hold’em poker game. Which has gained even more popularity thanks to the online poker rooms.

1. Casino Royale (2006) – This James Bond movie is one of the favorite movies no matter if you are only 8 or 80 years old. This new James Bond movie is going to be the first one to bring Daniel Craig as the James Bond actor.

The double “o” seven agent is going after an international terrorist organization and the trial stops at a Texas Hold’em high stakes poker game. Bond, James Bond is going to play by using 10 Millions out that took from the Government, so the stakes for him are very high, since in case he loses the money the UK government is going to give out the funds to an international terrorist organization.

2. Rounders (1998) – The Rounders is the type of movie that will take you to a world of exotic gambling, where the high stakes players are going to forget about things that are essential in live, like relationship and are going to hustle for fun and profit. Matt Damon and Ed Norton are the main stars of his movie. And some people are claiming that this movie has introduced Texas Hold’em to the world. In case you are a poker player you will definitely enjoy this movie.

3. The Grand (2007) – This is one of the latest movies where the Texas Hold’em is introduced to the public. This movie is basically a film where well known and little known actors are going to have a good time playing poker.

4. High Rollers (2003) – In case you are going to watch this movie you will be one of the people that love to see what other great people in this world managed to achieved and it is something that you can only dream of. This movie presents the story of Stu Unger, a poker player that started to have a brilliant poker player career, followed by a lot of money, but cannot enjoy life due to his addiction, which led him to failure.

5. The Cooler (2003) – This movie is about the unluckiest man in Las Vegas, played by William Macy. This guy is so full of bad luck that it is contagious and it is used by the Las Vegas casino’s mob to kill the action of the high roller poker players. Everything goes by the plan until the moment when he falls in love with a cocktail waitress from a casino, which is considered to be his “Lady Luck” and things will put the situation in reverse. Everything will get nasty the moment the casino director will try to break them up.
